Experienced Customer Service & Sales Representative – E-commerce and Industrial Supply Expert

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service & Sales Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients. You'll be the face of our company, providing exceptional service and support to our customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your expertise in e-commerce and industrial supply will enable you to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, answer questions, and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and assign emails, ensuring timely and efficient responses to customer inquiries

  • Process invoices from suppliers, delivering customer invoices and receiving payments in a timely manner
  • Enter tracking numbers into our ERP and e-commerce websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Manage high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors, providing verbal and email quotes, and communicating with vendors to confirm price and availability
  • Process orders with vendors and confirm order acknowledgments, keeping track of backorders and following up with vendors and customers on ship dates
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly payments to vendors, keeping track of past-due invoices and resolving any discrepancies
  • Maintain confidential financial documentation, requiring minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlines

Essential Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, customer support, and sales

  • Excellent verbal, written, and typing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a proactive work ethic and strong communication skills
  • High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Friendly and patient demeanor in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in e-commerce software and industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidential financial documentation and require minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a similar role at a family-owned or industrial supply company

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment
  • Certification in customer service or sales

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and e-commerce software
  • Experience with ERP systems and e-commerce websites
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
