Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a large, established book of business, including various insurance products and client relationships
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Reviewing insurance contracts for inaccuracies, processing endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing
- Completing and preparing certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews
- Checking policy coverage and endorsements on all new business and renewals
- Applying problem-solving techniques to various issues concerning cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier issues
- Working independently or as part of a team to achieve business objectives and meet client needs
- Directly responsible for the retention of all accounts assigned to the team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license
- Above-average computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in various needed programs
- Prior experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages, including admitted and non-admitted carriers
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
