We are now seeking a talented and enthusiastic Remote Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our existing customers.

About the Opportunity

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, helping them make changes to their current insurance policies from one of our 55+ insurance carrier partners. Your role will involve responding to inbound calls, processing service requests, answering questions regarding policy details, and supporting our customers with enthusiasm and care. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from existing customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns
  • Process service requests, such as adding or removing vehicles and drivers, adding lienholder information, sending policy documents, and more
  • Help customers with questions they have regarding existing insurance policies, including coverages, policy benefits, and making changes to existing policies
  • Work to retain blithequark policyholders by actively finding solutions for customers who are at risk of cancellation, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded

Compensation and Perks

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 - 21.00, as well as a range of benefits and perks to support your career growth and well-being. These include:

  • P&C license reimbursement (expected within 60 days after starting)

  • Ability to work remotely, with work equipment provided by blithequark
  • Ongoing training and mentorship from our leadership team, to help you develop your skills and expertise
  • An outstanding portfolio of insurance carriers and products, with over 55 carriers to ensure that we can offer our customers the best options for them

Schedule

The schedule for this role is as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 10:30am - 9pm ET

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise solutions to customer queries
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of inbound calls and service requests
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process service requests and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in customer support or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry
  • P&C license or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of starting
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate multiple software systems and tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
