Key Responsibilities

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure that you can perform your duties effectively and efficiently, certain technology and equipment requirements must be met. These include:

  • A quiet and secure work environment during working hours.
  • A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted).
  • A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication.
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity. Please note that mobile home internet or satellite internet service cannot be used.
  • An operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS).
  • Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed.
  • A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad is required for program work, along with an authentication app.

Work Environment Requirements

Your home office should be a quiet, uninterrupted space with an organized desk area, ensuring that you can focus on delivering exceptional customer service without distractions.

Contractual Relationship

It is essential to understand that your relationship with blithequark is a contractual one, and you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings, and you will be required to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
