Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance Operations, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes, and provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Responsibilities

* Research and respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into our systems, ensuring the quality and integrity of our data
  • Collaborate with our operations team to resolve customer inquiries and issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED (education verification is not required)

  • 1 year customer service experience in a healthcare or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements

* 1 year customer service experience

  • 6 months data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, i.e. CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
