Experienced Customer Support Specialist - Remote Opportunity with Flexible Scheduling

Program Details
Our program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, and we're looking for Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program. Preference will be given to those who can dedicate themselves to this timeframe. If you're interested in working a shorter period, please note that your availability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer support experiences through phone, chat, and email
* Resolving complex customer issues in a timely and professional manner
* Utilizing active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve processes
* Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and tax season changes to provide accurate information to customers
* Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments
* Working well under pressure to meet team productivity goals
* Demonstrating initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or equivalent
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive work culture
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to research and analyze complex customer issues
* Experience in a call center environment or customer support role
* Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferable)
* Ability to work in a training environment and adapt to new processes and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
* Experience working with software troubleshooting and technical issues
* Knowledge of tax preparation software and tax laws
* Experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a call center environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Operating Hours and Scheduling
Our operating hours are from 8am to midnight EST, Monday to Sunday. You'll be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with peak periods requiring additional hours. During peak periods, you'll be expected to work a minimum of 8 hours each day on April 13th, 14th, and 15th. You'll have the flexibility to choose your schedule, but please note that you must meet the required minimum hours per week.
