Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and blithequark service traits.
  • Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Assisting with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation, using the first-in, first-out method and restocking outs as needed.
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers, and completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred.

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.

  • Knowledge of store systems and equipment, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with online ordering and pickup systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
