About the Role: Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent

The Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent plays a vital role in our organization, responsible for monitoring alarm signals, responding to emergencies, and maintaining communication with customers and emergency responders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
  • Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, ensuring prompt and effective response.
  • Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a commitment to resolving their concerns.
  • Notify customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the status of their alarm systems.
  • Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved.
  • Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and helpful responses to customer inquiries.

Requirements for Success:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable you to provide exceptional customer service and respond effectively to emergency situations. The following requirements are essential:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, ensuring efficient and accurate communication.
  • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and trustworthiness.
  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required, highlighting the importance of customer-focused skills and experience.

Nice-to-Haves:

In addition to the essential requirements, the following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English speakers, with an additional $1.00 per hour, demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
