Job Description Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing Service to Patients: Answer patient inquiries with exceptional customer service, while maintaining positive patient relations.
- Excellent Communication: Provide concise and professional communication to patients and colleagues alike.
- ETM Software Operation: Learn and understand the operation of our ETM software.
- Billing and Account Operations: Learn and understand billing and account operations, including researching and resolving problems with patients' bills.
- Documenting Inquiries: Answer and document all telephone inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Insurance Coverage Updates: Update patients' insurance coverage as needed.
- Printing Claims and Statements: Print courtesy claims and itemized statements as required.
- Rebilling Accounts: Rebills accounts after receiving insurance information.
- Financial Agreements: Arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plans as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties and assignments as requested by management.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Multitasking Ability: The ability to speak, listen, and type simultaneously is required.
- Microsoft Windows Environment: Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment is a plus.
