Job Summary

As a Live Chat Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing timely and efficient customer service through online chat on our website and social media channels. Your duties will include answering customer inquiries, offering promotional discounts, and providing helpful resources and information. This is an entry-level position, and full training is provided, so don't worry if you're new to live chat support – we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide timely and efficient customer service through online chat on our website and social media channels

  • Answer customer inquiries, offer promotional discounts, and provide helpful resources and information
  • Create a positive customer experience and drive sales through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work independently, following provided steps and instructions to ensure seamless customer interactions
  • Utilize your creativity and resourcefulness to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with our team to share best practices and improve customer support processes

Contract and Compensation

* Contract length: No fixed term

  • Hourly rate: $25 – $35 per hour
  • Hours per week: 5 – 40 hours per week
  • Location: Remote work online worldwide (United States preferred)

Requirements

* Device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)

  • Ability to work independently and follow provided steps and instructions
  • 5+ hours availability per week
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with online chat platforms

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience, either in-person or online

  • Familiarity with live chat software and online chat platforms
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Strong typing skills and ability to multitask
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and online marketing
