Job Overview

As a Revenue Cycle Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our revenue operations department, focusing on medical insurance collections, credits, or setting patient insurance coverage. Your primary responsibilities will include communicating with insurance payers, responding to payer communications, and collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes. You will also have the opportunity to partner with clinic teammates, such as insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, or setting patient insurance coverage
  • Communicate with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
  • Respond timely and accurately to payer communications
  • Collaborate with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
  • Partner with clinic teammates, such as insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
  • Help identify process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of six (6) months of corporate office experience. Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required. You should also have experience with data entry, filling out online forms, and navigating through the internet and provider portals. Proper claim accounting knowledge and medical billing or accounting experience are significant advantages.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required
  • Data Entry experience filling out online forms
  • Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Revenue Cycle experience
  • Proper claim accounting knowledge
  • Medical billing or accounting experience
