Job Overview

We are searching for a Data Entry Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team, working from the comfort of your own home with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends. Under the supervision of the Team Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for phone/online research and data collection. This position may be based in Illinois and Arizona, and we are looking for individuals who are eager to work hard, gain valuable business experience, and develop their knowledge in the foodservice industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct phone and online research to gather data and information
  • Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with the Data Management team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently to achieve targets
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private, secure environment (Tablets are not acceptable)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, with up to 29 hours available
  • Expertise using the internet as a research tool and computer savvy
  • Previous experience in data entry or an adjacent role
  • Professional, ambitious, adaptable, and hard-working with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline-oriented and able to work efficiently
  • Excellent telephone and customer-service skills, including comfort with cold-calling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Publisher, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry, including classifications and types
  • General understanding of menu structure
  • Foodservice experience is a plus

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The pay range for this position is between $14-$16 hourly, based on experience.
