Job Summary

As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle processes. You will work closely with our revenue operations team, clinics, and insurance payers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics. This is a remote opportunity, with on-site training in Federal Way, WA, followed by full remote work.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage
• Communicating with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
• Responding timely and accurately to payer communications
• Collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
• Partnering with clinics teammates, including Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
• Identifying process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of six (6) months of corporate office experience
• Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
• Data entry experience, including filling out online forms
• Savvy navigation skills through the internet and provider portals
• Proper claim accounting knowledge is a plus
• Medical billing or accounting experience is a plus
