About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of hourly workforce and play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts, providing support and guidance, and ensuring that our customer expectations are met. Key Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve their full potential
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to ensure that our operations are running safely and efficiently
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts and work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Our Operations Workflow

Our operations workflow has three major components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile. The First mile is where the product is housed and ready for order, the Middle mile is where the order is hauled to your area, and the Last mile is when the product is delivered to the customer's door. While our workflows may have slight building variations, one thing remains constant: our vision and dedication to the customer.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate and engage teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and productivity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management or a related field
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Experience with quality assurance and control
  • Strong understanding of customer expectations and how to meet them
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $20 to $28 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
