Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls and greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and personalized communication
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Conducting needs-based reviews to educate customers about insurance options and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, product offerings, and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice and guidance to customers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Strong assessment and interviewing skills to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Ability to obtain a Property Casualty license and a Life and Health license (we'll provide support and resources to help you achieve this goal)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry trends
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills to serve a diverse customer base
