Job Summary

As a Data Entry Associate, you'll be responsible for gathering, preparing, and entering data from various source documents into our computer systems. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database
  • Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database
  • Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications
  • Following data program security practices and procedures at all times
  • Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily
  • Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
