About the Role

As an IT Operations Manager at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality IT support to our global organization. You'll manage local and remote resources, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that drive exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and leveraging our knowledge base, identifying opportunities for automation, documentation, and process improvement, and setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support to our global organization

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that drive exceptional customer experiences
• Develop and leverage our knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
• Identify opportunities for automation, documentation, and process improvement to reduce requests and improve efficiency
• Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
• Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed

Essential Qualifications

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

• 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a cloud-based environment

• Familiarity with AWS services and tools
• Strong leadership and management skills
