Role Overview
As an Experienced Virtual Assistant / Airbnb Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and assisting with our short-term rental operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Guest and reservation management: Process reservations, manage guest communications, and provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods.
- Virtual property management: Coordinate housekeeping, arrange amenities, and ensure that our properties are well-maintained and ready for guests.
- Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: Oversee the scheduling and coordination of cleaning services, ensuring that our properties are cleaned and prepared for guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure high guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest and reservation management: + Process reservations and manage guest communications + Provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods + Ensure that guest needs are met and exceeded
- Virtual property management:
+ Coordinate housekeeping and arrange amenities + Ensure that our properties are well-maintained and ready for guests + Oversee the scheduling and coordination of cleaning services
- Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination:
+ Schedule and coordinate cleaning services + Ensure that our properties are cleaned and prepared for guests in a timely and efficient manner + Oversee the quality of cleaning services and make adjustments as needed
- Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner:
+ Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues + Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high guest satisfaction and loyalty + Collaborate with the team to resolve complex issues and improve guest experiences
Success Metrics
* Maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries (less than 1 hour)
- Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency in less than 3 hours or ASAP
- Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience
- Must be available to work during normal U.S. business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm EST)
- Strong verbal, written, and reading skills in English
- Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple technology platforms
- Excellent typing skills, including speed and accuracy
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Independent thinker with strong decision-making skills
- Excellent at following directions
- Conflict resolution experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Airbnb customer service
- Ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies as needed
- Strong knowledge of the short-term rental industry and its operations
