Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing timely updates to customers via email. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive and process customer requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or chat

  • Submit tickets into blithequark's ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Review each open ticket to determine the outcome and provide updates to customers via email
  • Ensure timely closure of each ticket, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Help Desk technicians to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket resolutions

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, business administration) preferred

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk) and customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and software as a service (SaaS) platforms
  • Certification in customer service, IT support, or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
