Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Online Automotive Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for handling all incoming internet, email, social media, text, chat, and phone inquiries in a prompt, professional, and well-spoken manner. You will work closely with our sales and management staff to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle all incoming internet, email, social media, text, chat, and phone inquiries in a prompt, professional, and well-spoken manner

  • Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs, taking into account their preferences, budget, and lifestyle
  • Conceptualize and understand the psychology of internet customers and work with them to set an appointment for a proper vehicle demonstration
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Work closely with sales and management staff to ensure customer satisfaction during the dealership experience

Essential Qualifications

* Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales staff, and management

  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday, with flexible hours ranging from 8:30am to 7pm
  • Ability to adhere to attendance guidelines, with regular attendance being an essential job function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivation and goal orientation, with a focus on hitting sales quotas and closing percentages

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and its products
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
