Talent Acquisition Leader (Remote)

The Talent Acquisition leader will provide full cycle talent acquisition support to Raytheon BBN. This candidate possesses advanced level recruiting knowledge, skills, and abilities. They have a strong knowledge and history of recruiting in multiple skill areas. The successful candidate will design and transform recruiting activities. They will utilize the recruiting industry's latest sourcing and networking tools to implement and track applicants throughout the full recruiting life cycle and achieve results. She/he will have dynamic team building and partnering skills. As part of the Human Resources function, the position works closely with TA, HR and the Hiring Managers to attract talent to the organization. In addition, the Talent Acquisition lead will be responsible for engaging developing recruitment and onboarding strategies to meet business commitments. This position reports directly to the HR leader for Raytheon BBN. Responsibilities include: Partner with functional business leaders and Human Resources partners to assess talent requirements, create staffing strategies, source candidates, develop offers and close candidates Manage a team of entry level to seasoned recruiters Leverage the industry's leading edge recruiting techniques and tools to source candidates Support leaders and hiring managers in one or more client groups and pro-actively engage leadership teams to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition policies, processes, and service level agreements Lead by example, mentoring team members to achieve their goals and assisting in the resolution of recruitment challenges Managing and monitoring onboarding activities for incoming new hires through first 120 days in partnership with other functional organizations Maintain compliance with company policies and processes and effectively influence hiring managers regarding their compliance responsibilities Accurate recordkeeping including applicant tracking and other hiring related documentation Required Skills: Minimum of 8 years related experience in Human Resources including at least 2 years full cycle talent acquisition experience Experience and understanding of leading edge recruiting techniques and tools including social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), Boolean searching and traditional networking methodologies Demonstrated experience sourcing key talent across multiple business lines and developing and implementing search strategies and methodologies Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills Demonstrated creative problem solving ability and excellent teamwork skills Experience driving innovation to hire critical talent Advanced level candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects Experience managing key assignments by providing on-going documentation and status to stake-holders Experience influencing and partnering with Human Resources and hiring managers regarding the recruiting process Experience measuring performance to metrics and present findings to a wide range of leaders Full-cycle recruiting experience filling high volume number of positions (30+) in various disciplines at all levels of an organization Experience delivering training to business partners and hiring managers Experience in a corporate, commercial, agency and/or military contractor environment Understanding of employment law principles including the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) principles Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, applicant tracking systems) Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience Relocation assistance not available.
