This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits. The appointment would begin Fall 2024.Degree and Teaching Experience: Interested applicants should have a terminal degree in Screenwriting and a minimum of three plus (3+) years of university level teaching experience.A successful candidate should have experience working in the industry (Hollywood, Independent, or International) and should have significant credits/experience in writing and development on at least two of the following platforms:
- Domestic and/or global feature films
- Cable and/or network television series
- Streaming and/or new media
- Adaptation of existing intellectual property to both film and television formats.
- Management and collaborative development with new talent and seasoned writers.
- VR/Video-game writing and other interactive/new media formats.
