Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our remote team, providing exceptional service to patients and customers while working from the comfort of your own home. As a Customer Service Specialist with blithequark, you'll be responsible for answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, and providing empathetic support to patients and customers. You'll also be responsible for data entry, gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information, and working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients and customers

  • Provide exceptional customer service and empathy, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Heavy data entry, including gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information
  • Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
  • Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

* At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)

  • Medical Call Center experience is a plus, but not required
  • Active internet connection and ability to work from home
  • Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
  • Great work attitude and willingness to help others
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Experience with patient billing and medical information systems
