Job Summary
As a Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat to resolve their queries and concerns. You'll be the go-to expert for all things pet-related, from helping customers find the perfect pet to resolving complex issues with our products. Key Responsibilities
* Connect directly with customers to resolve their queries and concerns, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience
- Conduct thorough research and issue resolution to provide suitable answers to customers, think proactively, and set follow-up meetings as needed to guarantee contact resolution
- Work with empathy, using active listening, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to customers and colleagues alike
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, sharing feedback, receiving input, and working in a culture of openness and development
- Collaborate with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an engaging customer-driven culture of cooperation
Essential Qualifications
* 2 years of customer service experience
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written evaluation
- Ability to multitask (e.g., hold a phone conversation while searching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a high-speed environment
- Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to assist in supporting our customers
- Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust schedule and stay at work past 40 hours depending on the situation by the specialty unit
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of pet-related products and services
- Certification in customer service or a related field
Technical Requirements
* Workspace should be large enough to accommodate computer screens and be free from distractions, including any background noise that affects the customer experience
- Workspace suitable for webcam use
- Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed) (You can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider)
- Provide a reliable internet connection; we will provide all other equipment (computer, screen, keyboard, mouse, headset, webcam)
