Responsibilities

As an Airline Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries through calls, emails, and chat, providing accurate information and assistance regarding flight reservations, bookings, cancellations, and general inquiries.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring high customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborating with a talented team of professionals to deliver exceptional service and support to clients and their passengers.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, continuously improving your skills and knowledge to provide the highest level of service.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Experience with Amadeus, a leading provider of travel technology solutions
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or airline industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer interactions with ease
  • Ability to navigate through computer systems and multitask efficiently, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Willingness to work in shifts and weekends, as required in a 24/7 operation
  • Legally eligible to work in South Africa
  • A reliable laptop with 2nd screen and internet connectivity, with at least 3 to 4 hours of power backup for load shedding situations
