Location: North Las Vegas, NV 89115
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm (daily report due at 5:15pm which equals overtime on weekends during their busy season only-takes about 15 mins. to complete) | 100% Onsite | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. D.O.E.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Administrator to support workforce planning and labor management operations at our North Las Vegas site. This role plays an integral part in monitoring headcount, managing both full-time and contingent labor, and ensuring workforce alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative, HR, or staffing experience with a focus on compliance, reporting, and communication across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Delivery
- Track and manage both full-time and contingent hourly labor headcount to meet daily and weekly operational targets.
- Monitor labor allocations, rebalance resources, and align staffing levels with forecasted volume or shift changes.
- Oversee new hire orientations, ensuring show-up rates and conversion metrics meet site goals.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Partner with staffing vendors to review performance, fill rates, and compliance metrics, developing corrective and proactive action plans when needed.
- Assess vendor scalability to support seasonal volume fluctuations and site-specific needs.
Data, Systems & Reporting
- Maintain and update workforce dashboards and headcount tracking tools to support leadership decision-making.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on key metrics such as attrition, overtime, cancellations, and hiring conversions.
- Analyze trends and recommend actionable solutions to improve labor efficiency and cost management.
Execution & Compliance
- Use HRIS and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) to process requisitions, track attendance, and audit timekeeping data.
- Support planning and coordination for hiring events, including setup, scheduling, and post-event audits.
- Ensure compliance with local and state employment regulations, including meal and rest periods, sick leave, and scheduling laws.
- Maintain administrative records and supplies, ensuring readiness for site operations.
- Support special projects and pilot initiatives as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in operations, administrative support, HR, recruiting, or staffing.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organization and prioritization abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general business communication tools.
- Experience in data entry, reporting, and auditing functions.
- Ability to work onsite in a warehouse or office environment; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience with co-employment laws or contingent labor management.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday and VMS platforms.
- Proficiency with Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups) and general data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify workforce trends and propose improvements.
