Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Registering customer transactions on the sales register, collecting cash, and processing returns, exchanges, and other transactions
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and processing inventory
  • Developing and maintaining displays, including special, seasonal, and promotional displays
  • Assisting with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by strategies and systems
  • Providing customer assistance in the photo area, including digital ID photo services and banner printing
  • Taking on web order responsibilities, including processing orders and delivering packages to customers
  • Maintaining a positive and respectful attitude, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to all company policies and procedures

Client Experience

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable customer experience. This includes:

  • Greeting customers and offering assistance with products and services
  • Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Modeling and promoting customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Activities

Your daily activities as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark will include:

  • Providing customers with respectful, friendly, quick, and efficient service
  • Recommending products to customers and suggesting upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Registering customer transactions on the sales register, collecting cash, and processing returns, exchanges, and other transactions
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and processing inventory
  • Developing and maintaining displays, including special, seasonal, and promotional displays
  • Assisting with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by strategies and systems
  • Providing customer assistance in the photo area, including digital ID photo services and banner printing

Preparation and Self-Awareness

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be required to:

  • Attend training and complete PPLs as assigned by your supervisor or corporate
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, providing excellent customer service and adhering to all company policies and procedures

Essential Capabilities

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need:

  • To be conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • To be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours

Preferred Capabilities

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with blithequark
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
