Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Connecting directly with customers who contact us for various reasons, from helping them find their new pet to resolving issues with their orders.
  • Conducting thorough investigations and issue resolution to provide suitable solutions to customers, thinking proactively, and setting follow-up meetings as needed to ensure contact resolution.
  • Working with empathy, undivided attention, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Collaborating with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an engaging customer-driven culture of collaboration.
  • Embracing a culture of continuous learning, where we share feedback, receive input, and work together to grow and develop.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written evaluation
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., keeping a conversation on the phone while searching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a high-speed environment
  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to assist with supporting our customers
  • Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule and work beyond 40 hours as needed by the team
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

  • A dedicated workspace that's large enough to accommodate computer screens and free from distractions, including any background noise that may impact the customer experience
  • A workspace suitable for webcam use
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed) – you can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider
  • A wireless or tablet device that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Confirm
