Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will:
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business objectives
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Streamline and normalize reports to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Develop and maintain metrics definitions and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Design, develop, and deploy data visualizations to support business objectives
- Pursue industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and actionable manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, including Python, SQL, Power BI, and Visual Studio
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, including Power Apps and Automation Anywhere - A360
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of large-scale data processing and analytics, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of business climate and industry trends
