Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our information pipelines, ensuring that all client interaction data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Foundation, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research, to understand their data needs and provide solutions. You will also participate in data design and architecture decisions, bringing your expertise and insights to the table.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and manage our information pipelines, ensuring all client interaction data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse.
* Create authoritative datasets to track key product metrics, including customer growth, engagement, and revenue.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
* Execute strong and issue-free frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
* Participate in data design and architecture decisions, bringing your expertise and insights to the table.
* Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
* Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3).
* Familiarity with ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar systems.
* Strong understanding of data storage and ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage code.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
