Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a seamless checkout process. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your warm and welcoming demeanor will set the tone for their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Offer product recommendations and suggestions to customers, based on their needs and preferences
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and guidelines
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging shopping experience
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team environment
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services, staying up-to-date on new releases and promotions
• Provide assistance with photo services, including digital photo printing and framing
• Participate in online order fulfillment, processing and preparing orders for pickup or delivery
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new releases and promotions
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team environment

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role

• Previous experience working with blithequark or a similar organization
• Ability to speak multiple languages, including English
• Previous experience with visual merchandising and store displays
• Previous experience with online order fulfillment and processing
