Job Summary
As a Part-Time Accounting Analysis Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation across blithequark's Channel Improvement and global retail business. You'll lead a high-performing team of accounting professionals, overseeing bookkeeping processes and providing expert guidance on financial analysis and reporting. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring a seamless and accurate month-end close, and you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Accounting Analysis Manager, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing inspirational leadership and vision to the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages trust and open communication
* Administering complex areas of accounting, overseeing bookkeeping processes and providing clear guidance to clients on financial implications
* Enhancing and collaborating on continuous process improvement, leading others in the execution of ideas and innovations to refine existing frameworks, internal controls, and work processes affecting month-end and quarter-end financial close and reporting
* Assisting in building partnerships and developing a high-performing team, mentoring and motivating colleagues to meet business targets, challenge the status quo, and seek continuous improvement
* Enjoying a dynamic and fun work environment and having a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with blithequark's core values
We'd Love to Hear from Individuals with:
* 4+ years of relevant experience in:
+ Leading accounting projects for a large, global, public organization
+ Working cross-functionally with teams and business groups to implement accounting solutions for new business initiatives
+ Presenting to multiple stakeholders and settings, including conveying accounting results and topics to finance and business leaders
+ Experience with Blackline modules, including accounts, consolidations, and journals modules
+ CPA or public accounting experience or more
* Four-year degree required, degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
