Job Summary As a Senior Manager, Product Management - Technical in our VoC organization, you'll lead cross-functional teams to develop and deliver products that help Amazon improve its world-class customer experience. You'll work closely with senior leaders across Amazon to drive collaboration, influence prioritization, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your technical product expertise will be crucial in shaping the strategy and addressing complex technical challenges while driving forward-thinking approaches. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Strategic Vision and Roadmap: Set the vision and product roadmap for Amazon's flagship suite of VoC products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams, including product and program managers, scientists, engineers, and designers, to execute on the product vision.
  • Drive Innovation and Customer Experience: Obsess over customer experience and translate complex business requirements and customer needs into innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate and Prioritize Initiatives: Evaluate and prioritize initiatives to ensure focus on the most impactful problems.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders: Work closely with senior leaders across Amazon to drive collaboration, influence prioritization, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Measure and Analyze Products: Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
  • Deliver Foundational Solutions: Deliver long-lasting foundational systematic solutions that pave the way for effective use of AI/Large Language Models (LLMs).

A Day in the Life A typical day for a Senior Manager of Product Management - Technical in the VoC team involves balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving. You'll work closely with product and technology teams within Customer Service, as well as across various teams, functions, and business verticals that contribute to Amazon's growth. Your day will involve:

  • Working with senior leaders across Amazon to drive collaboration and influence prioritization.
  • Overseeing key workstreams, including product strategy and delivery, stakeholder updates, and monthly roadmap reviews.
  • Balancing business needs with technical constraints to maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.

Requirements and Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • 5+ Years of Team Management: 5+ years of team management experience.
  • Roadmap Strategy and Definition: Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Consumer Software Products: Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high-growth environment.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Experience leading cross-functional software development teams, operations, UX Designers, and other Product Managers.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High-Performance Start-up Experience: Experience in a high-performance start-up or incubation effort within a larger company.
  • Influencing Senior Level Stakeholders: Experience working with and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
  • Managing Cross-Functional Teams: Experience directly managing cross-functional teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
