Experienced Customer Service Representative – Cargo Agent – ORD

If so, we want to hear from you! blithequark is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Cargo Agent team at ORD. As a key member of our team, you will be the face of blithequark's cargo services, interacting directly with customers face-to-face and over the phone to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to blithequark's cargo customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Interacting with customers face-to-face and over the phone to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Processing cargo shipments, including receiving and verifying documentation, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including tracking shipments and resolving any discrepancies
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on blithequark's products and services
  • Adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
  • A valid driver's license
  • Basic digital literacy
  • Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

While not required, having previous experience in cargo freight and warehouse operations, as well as typing/computer skills, will give you a competitive edge in this role.
