About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist and Information Researcher to join our team at blithequark. As an Information Researcher at blithequark Worldwide Tech, the vast scope and volume of our global data is virtually limitless. You will create insights that impact how we make decisions that have influence at an extraordinary scale. Key Responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling methods, selecting the best fit for structured and unstructured, complex data, and developing custom analysis models to generate insights that drive value for our customers and open competitive advantage for our association
• Collaborating with our data engineers to gather the right data from our various sources so you can execute advanced statistical procedures and design interventions to improve how our business can best perform
• Leading exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis (predictive or prescriptive)
• Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to translate challenging retail business problems into cutting-edge data science solutions
• Creating processes and tools that monitor, analyze, and continuously improve model performance and data accuracy

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in an analysis or related field, or a Master's degree in a related field
• Proven ability as a full-stack data scientist who develops, optimizes, and scales models for the production environment
• Demonstrated ability with statistical techniques and advanced modeling methods (e.g., SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, graph models, NLP, Computer Vision, neural networks, etc.)
• Familiarity with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with database technologies and distributed data stores (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Graduate degree in AI, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics
• Successful completion of one or more certifications in Python, Spark, Scala, or R
