Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times.
- Utilizing AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management systems to manage customer accounts and track shipments effectively.
- Assisting in data entry tasks related to freight management and fleet operations.
- Analyzing customer needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues related to transportation management systems and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.
- Providing support in logistics planning by leveraging GIS tools when necessary.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data entry and strong analytical skills to assess customer needs effectively.
- Knowledge of freight operations and fleet management practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
