The Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers via telephone. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and you'll play a critical role in ensuring that their travel experiences are seamless and enjoyable. Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming calls from customers
• Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized service
• Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
• Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
• Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
• Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively

• Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry
• Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple applications seamlessly
• Excellent customer service skills, including strong listening and communication skills

• A self-directed and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong typing skills and the ability to work efficiently in a computer-based environment
• A high level of proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications simultaneously

Essential Functions

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to:

About You

Prior customer service experience is required for this role. You should possess strong geographical knowledge and experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred.
