As a key member of our high-energy call center team, you will play a vital role in shaping the blithequark experience for our customers, connecting them to the world, and exceeding their expectations.

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll be part of a service and sales-focused team that's dedicated to making every customer interaction outstanding and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering calls in an efficient, courteous, and accurate manner, while assessing customer needs and offering solutions and additional products
  • Optimally listening to customers, quickly identifying and owning customer issues, and actively searching for solutions to problems
  • Making quality decisions, paying attention to detail, and interacting with a globally diverse group of customers and colleagues
  • Consistently selling travel-related services, including car rental and credit card vendor partner products, while understanding and adhering to all blithequark and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements
  • Participating in future opportunities to advance to specialty teams that respond to customer concerns or resolve complex international ticketing issues
  • Assisting customers via Twitter, Facebook, or other emerging social media platforms as blithequark continues to innovate and expand its customer engagement channels

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
  • The ability to embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • A commitment to prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Authorization to work in the United States and be at least 18 years of age
  • Flexibility to work PM shifts with 2 consecutive days off, which will likely be offered midweek
  • Digital literacy in navigating web-based and airline-specific software applications, emails, instant messaging, and internet searches
  • Clear, cheerful, and courteous verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Reliable and committed attendance, performance, self-motivation, and goal attainment
  • A commitment to prioritizing privacy when handling personal data

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

To take your career to the next level, consider the following preferred qualifications:

  • One year of experience working in sales and at least one year of experience providing customer service
  • Spanish language fluency, which may lead to internal bilingual positions with associated pay increases
