About the Role

As a Customer Support Consultant at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, email, and chat. You will be responsible for resolving customer complaints, answering questions, and providing solutions to problems in a professional and courteous manner. Your excellent communication skills in both German and English will be essential in this role, as you will be working with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely and effective support to customers via multiple channels
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilizing your knowledge of banking, legal, or financial services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of GDPR and data privacy standards to ensure compliance
  • Using Zendesk and Jira to manage customer interactions and resolve issues efficiently
  • Conducting research and analysis to resolve complex customer issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer experience
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent English and German skills (C1 for both spoken and written)
  • Experience in customer support, preferably in a banking, legal, or financial services environment
  • Background in banking, legal, or financial services
  • Solid understanding of GDPR and data privacy standards
  • Proficiency in using Zendesk and Jira
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Attention to detail and reliability when handling sensitive or legal information
  • Positive and responsible attitude, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or home office environment
  • Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those spoken in Europe
  • Experience with other customer support software or tools
  • Background in sales or account management
  • Certifications or training in customer support, sales, or a related field
