Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist for RedBox Rx, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations by processing prescription orders, assisting customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, and you will be responsible for adhering to all statutes and regulations pertaining to a pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities

* Process prescription orders from RedBox Rx providers and assist customers with visit and treatment-related inquiries

• Create new patient profiles for patients and perform prescription data entry
• Assist RedBox Rx customers via phone and email
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies
• Perform other related job duties and special projects as required
• Handle inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment
• Assist in adherence to quality assurance standards

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program and maintains continuing education requirements to keep license active
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to assist other members of the department
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in the preparation of accurate prescriptions
