Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, answering calls, and responding to queries in a professional and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect, patience, and empathy
  • Accurately document call content in real-time, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide solutions to customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience

Schedule and Training

The schedule for this role includes working hours from Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. The training period will be approximately two weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Please note that rotating holidays may be required as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices
  • Certifications in customer service or related fields

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
