Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist to join our 3rd shift team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering new orders, maintaining up-to-date customer information, generating labels for dispensing, and responding to order inquiries. Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist at Blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

• Entering new orders for staff pharmacist review, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintaining up-to-date, accurate customer information, including demographic and medication data
• Generating labels for dispensing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Answering phones and responding to order inquiries, providing excellent customer service
• Clarifying orders as needed, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment
• Triage incoming faxes, prioritizing and processing orders efficiently

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• A Registered Pharmacy Technician certification with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• Previous experience in pharmacy operations, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting
• Knowledge of brand names and generic medications, as well as SIG-Codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail
• Quick typing skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data
• Computer literacy, with experience using Frameworks LTC system and PLUS
