Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday through Thursday (with some Fridays as needed). As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entry, file maintenance, and record keeping for our SBU projects. You will work closely with project managers and division administrative managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently enter multiple items into our systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

  • Collaborate with project managers and division administrative managers to collect and enter data, ensuring billing and documentation are performed correctly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, as needed
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our systems, processes, and procedures
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in data entry or record keeping

Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 1 to 3 years of clerical or administrative experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Advanced typing ability (at least 40 wpm)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data entry software and systems

  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices
  • Certification in data entry or administrative support (e.g., Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA))
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
