Key Responsibilities
As a Flight Operations Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Flight Planning and Principles team. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing curriculum, compliance, or training support to Flight Planning Collaborating with Flight Planning support teams to complete project tasks as assigned Offering informed authority guidance to project tasks as appointed Adjusting or creating new training materials when required Tracking individual progress and reporting status of tasks to appropriate leaders Reviewing standard procedures and providing feedback on changes Performing explicit obligations as allocated by Flight Planning management Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma, GED, or secondary school equivalency Strong organizational and administration skills Experience with Flight Operations Foundation Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Office 365 and other Delta/DPS software The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail A commitment to prioritizing the safety and security of self, others, and personal data Embracing a diverse range of individuals, thinking, and styles Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Analytical Skills - The ability to utilize thinking and reasoning to solve a problem Critical Thinking - The capacity to make basic decisions while following company protocols Attention to Detail - The ability to deliver work that is consistent and mistake-free while fulfilling established time constraints Diversity - The capacity to work in a hospitable, conscious, and professional manner with individuals regardless of their age, gender, race, identity, religion, national origin, disability, etc. Trustworthiness/Integrity/Ethical Standards - The ability to maintain high upright principles and be truthful and moral while performing position obligations Imaginative and strategic thinker Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Delta Airlines, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
