Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our dispatch and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of our products, while also maintaining accurate records and adhering to environmental regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Ready Mix Concrete division.

Key Responsibilities

* Actively participate in weekly safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) to ensure a safe working environment

  • Accurately proportion cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures in batches to load trucks
  • Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to schedule and dispatch deliveries as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations
  • Conduct daily inspections of the plant and complete maintenance and record keeping
  • Work overtime during peak season to meet customer demands
  • Modify duties and tasks as needed to meet company requirements
  • Call customers in advance of late deliveries or delays in service
  • Proactively reach out to customers on new secured projects

Education and/or Experience

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred, but not required

  • Management experience is also preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • Flexible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasked individuals are ideal for this role

Job Requirements and Skills

* Must be able to perform duties safely and maintain a safe working environment

  • Plant Automation – Command Alkon knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Solid communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
  • Strong analytical skills and basic math skills are necessary
  • Ability to work well in group problem-solving and meet deadlines
  • Identify problems, gather, and analyze information to make recommendations
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check before being employed by blithequark
