Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Telehealth Support Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing initial calls from patients and their families
  • Gathering information from callers and relaying it to clinicians
  • Providing empathetic and professional support to callers in various emotional states
  • Enhancing customer care skills while working with blithequark
  • Making a significant difference in callers' lives
  • Processing calls in a fast-paced environment with varying call volumes
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient confidentiality guidelines
  • Collaborating with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and care

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 18 years of age
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Accurate keyboard and typing skills (minimum requirements)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
  • Evening, weekend shifts required (including holidays, paid at time ½)
  • Access to High Speed Internet on a personal network (cannot be a shared network)
  • Personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Familiarity with telehealth or healthcare industry
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
