Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation through the application of advanced data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques. Your responsibilities will include:
* Building and deploying machine learning models using technical expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and quantitative methods
* Developing and implementing predictive analytics solutions to drive business decisions and optimize operations
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support
* Communicating complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including business clients and management teams
* Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning, and adapting our approaches to stay ahead of the curve
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
* At least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
* Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages
* Expertise in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, visualization, and insight extraction
* Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K-means, and anomaly detection
* Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure/Databricks, and data storage solutions, such as Snowflake
* Experience with software development methodologies, including GitHub, continuous integration and delivery, and agile development
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* A Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
* Experience working with IoT and Edge AI technologies
* Experience in reinforcement learning and healthcare applications
