Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Refining youngster assistance remittances in the SDU (State Cost Device) system according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Collecting, analyzing, arranging, and studying data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Working independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative and judgment to complete tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintaining adaptability and flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet rigid routines and plans
- Staying up-to-date with changes in policies and procedures, and implementing them as required
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of plans and techniques
- Solid social skills, using sensitivity, determination, and courtesy
- Ability to collect, analyze, arrange, and study data
- Ability to work as an employee, yet also independently sometimes with restricted direction
- Productivity in a busy atmosphere
- Adaptability and/or the ability to work overtime as needed to meet rigid routines and plans
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field
- Familiarity with SDU (State Cost Device) system and Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues
- Familiarity with software applications, such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite
