The WW Customer Trust Training – Learning Experience Design (LXD) team at blithequark is seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our team of talented professionals. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing learning programs that impact all new hires and tenured investigators within the Payment Risk Operations (PRO) vertical.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a learning professional who is people-obsessed, passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, and dedicated to bar-raising talent that evolves with business needs. As a Learning Experience Designer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing and developing learning programs that are engaging, effective, and aligned with the needs of our business. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple aspects of learning experience design, including practical experience in designing digital, blended, and classroom-based training content, stakeholder management, setting and monitoring Instructional Design standards, coaching other LXDs, and owning the end-to-end curriculum lifecycle from analysis to evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging e-learning for on-the-job performance improvement, using authoring tools like Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, or similar development tools
  • Manage and execute curriculum maintenance review and implementations cycles
  • Mentor or coach new LXDs and apprentices on design and processes
  • Consult with customers to define the problem to be solved and the best solution to that problem
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and curriculum templates to minimize the development time for new training materials
  • Employ project management skills and tools to manage multiple medium to large-scale projects from analysis through delivery concurrently
  • Embed data collection and feedback mechanisms throughout our learning solutions to generate data-driven, actionable insights into the Investigator Learning Experience
  • Lead efforts to drive continuous performance improvement from those insights
  • Conduct analysis to identify key tasks/skills to target in the curriculum and perform post-implementation evaluation on key performance and business metrics
  • Collaborate effectively with global stakeholder teams; Training Delivery, Learner Performance, Operations, Quality, and GPO, to identify knowledge gaps, and develop technical and non-technical training content

About the Team

The WW Customer Trust Training Learning Experience Design (LXD) team at blithequark is a dynamic and talented group of professionals who are passionate about creating great learning experiences for our associates and investigators. Our team comprises LXDs, Project/Program Managers, and Managers, and our primary responsibility is to create learning experiences that support our people during new hire, upskill, and other trainings. We improve Learner Capabilities and Performance through continuous learning, inclusive curriculum design, localization, video-based learning, enhanced practice, proactive maintenance of our curricula, and by measuring the learner experience through customer feedback and curriculum evaluation.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
  • 3+ years of change management experience

Skills and Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including:

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Experience with authoring tools such as Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, or similar development tools
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholder teams
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to mentor or coach new LXDs and apprentices on design and processes
