Job Overview

At blithequark, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our customers in the agricultural industry. Our Cotton Seed Supply division is a critical component of our operations, and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the requirement to be on-site in Lubbock, TX, for one day each week (flexible scheduling options available). As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting our Cotton Planning Team by managing data inputs, overseeing inventory records, and executing administrative tasks that are essential for streamlined seed supply operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately inputting and maintaining data in digital formats, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Verifying and rectifying data discrepancies as necessary.
  • Keeping inventory records current in SAP and other relevant systems.
  • Reviewing Bills of Lading to ensure the receipt of necessary samples.
  • Confirming that correct tests are conducted and standards are upheld.
  • Collaborating with production managers to authorize the shipment of approved batches.
  • Managing material extension requests and addressing issues related to BOMs, recipes, and quality inspection plans.
  • Collaborating with finance teams to assure accurate costing information.
  • Extracting data from SAP and generating reports utilizing tools such as Power BI.
  • Creating visual data representations, including charts and KPIs, to inform decision-making.
  • Providing administrative and operational support to the Seed Supply Team as required.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (training will be provided).
  • A high school diploma or GED (verification required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
